Descriptions:
ELT-FIBRIL fiber with 100% virgin homopolymer polypropylene as its raw material, this fiber was produced by special technology.
The products appear net-like structure with many fiber monofilaments connected.
When the fiber is put into the concrete, the horizontal structure in fiber monofilament can be destroyed in the course of stirring owing to friction and rubbing, and the fiber monofilament or net-like structure will fully stretch, thus the concrete is reinforced by a great number of polypropylene fibers.
ELT-FIBRIL is a Fibrillated (MESH) polypropylene microfiber for concrete reinforcement that complies with ASTM C 1116 or EN 14889-2, Standard Specification for Fiber Reinforced Concrete and Shotcrete, and is specifically designed to help mitigate the formation of plastic shrinkage cracking in concrete.
Typically used at a dosage rate of 0.6kg/m3 to 1.8kg/m3.

Application

When using spray technology in concrete construction, the polypropylene fiber added into the concrete can effectively decrease thespray concrete's deformation rate of the walls less than 8% and that of the roof less than 12%, and also can reduce the friction.
It can improve the constructing efficiency and working environment and popularize the spray technology.

Applying Instruction
◆ Dosage : for resist the common cracks on surfaces, 0.9kg/m3 fibers to cement mortar Is enough,
and for increasing reinforce and seepage resist application 1.8kg/m3 is enough.
◆ Stirring requirement : The proportion of cement, sand and aggregate is no need to be changed.
Put cement, aggregate, additive and fiber together, then stir after adding enough water
and time for stirring can be prolonged for 2~3 minutes in order to make the compound mix completely.
Also it can be mixed with cement and other aggregates in advance, stirring by adding water at worksite before construction.
