Polycarboxylate Based Water Reducer was synthesized from unsaturated carboxylic acid monomers,
long-chain alkane macromers, and other raw materials.
It is a high-performance cement dispersant with good application prospects in concrete.
Compared with naphthalene superplasticizer, polycarboxylate superplasticizer has the characteristics of a low dosage and high water reduction rate. Its moisture reduction rate is 25–35%, with a dosage of about 1.5%, close to saturation, and a moisture reduction rate of 35–45%
Polycarboxylate Based Water Reducer is a high efficiency, low addition rate polycarboxylate based high range water reducer designed for the production of a wide range of concrete mixes, from conventional to Self-Consolidating Concrete. It is designed to impart extreme workability without segregation to the concrete.
Product Description Of Polycarboxylate Based Water Reducer
Polycarboxylate superplasticizer is a polycarboxylate based high range water-reducing admixture which enables concrete to be produced with very low water to cement ratios.
Polycarboxylate superplasticizer does not contain added chlorides and will not promote corrosion in steel.
It is compatible with air-entraining agents, microsilica, accelerators and many other admixtures;
however, each material should be added to the concrete separately.

It can improve the flowability of concrete while significantly reduce the mixing water of concrete.
It has high water-reducing rate (40%) to meet the performance requirements of self-compacting concrete, high-performance concrete and precast.
It also has the function on early strength.

High water reduction: The water reduction rate of concrete is above 40%.
Easying to control production: Controling water reduction ratio, plasticity and air entraining by adjusting molecular weight of main chain, length and density of side chain, type of side chain group.

Methods of use
◆ The dosage of ELT-WR is suggested as follows (wt.% of cement): 0.25%-0.8%.
◆ It can be mixed in metric water or added in concrete mixer.
The recommended stirring time is 150s at least.
Concrete mixing test should be made before using in order to insure concrete quality.
◆It can be compounded together retarder,defoamer, air-entertraning reagent,
lignin sulfonic natrium and so on.
◆ product is a product as raw materials.
It is not suggested to use ELT-WR products directly in concrete or other materials
without formulation blending. The compatiblity of ELT-WR products to particular cement,
aggregate and the other raw materials in the application is not guaranteed.
It should be obtained through trial mixes and formulation technologies by the users.
Application Of Polycarboxylate Based Water Reducer
◆ It is a superplasticizer used in premix of construction and cast-in-place concrete.
◆ It is especially suitable high strength concrete for railway, haven, traffic, bridge and electric
power and so on.
◆ It is suitable for the preparation of high strength, high durability, self-compacting, steel fiber
and self-leveling concrete
Storage Of Polycarboxylate Based Water Reducer
l Sealed storage if unused, storage temperature is 0~40℃
l Storage period to maintain optimum performance is 24 months

if direct and prolonged contact with eyes and skin may cause irritation.
Wash the affected area of body with plenty of tap water immediately.
